In 2024 he received Ph.D. in robotics at Poznan University of Technology. He is currently a post-doc at IDEAS Research Institute and assistant professor at the Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence at Poznan University of Technology, Poland. He received his B.Sc. degree from Middle East Technical University in 2017 and his Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University in 2022. Jan Peters has received the Dick Volz Best 2007 US Ph.D. Thesis Runner-Up Award, the Robotics: Science &amp; Systems &#8211; Early Career Spotlight, the INNS Young Investigator Award, and the IEEE Robotics &amp; Automation Society&#8217;s Early Career Award as well as numerous best paper awards. He received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2014 and his Ph.D. in Information Technology from the same university in 2019. He holds a bachelor&#8217;s degree in Business Informatics from the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences and a master&#8217;s degree in Bioinformatics from the Goethe University Frankfurt.
