Krzysztof Walas<\/strong> graduated from Poznan University of Technology (PUT) in Poland receiving M.Sc. in Automatic Control and Robotics. He received (with honors) Ph.D. in Robotics in 2012 for his thesis concerning legged robots’ locomotion in structured environments.
Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence at PUT, Poland.
His research interests are related to robotic perception for physical interaction applied both to walking and grasping tasks.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Piotr Kicki<\/strong> received M.Sc. degree in automatic control and robotics from Poznan University of Technology, Poland in 2019. In 2024 he received Ph.D. in robotics at Poznan University of Technology. He is currently a post-doc at IDEAS Research Institute and assistant professor at the Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence at Poznan University of Technology, Poland. His main research interests include robot motion planning and applications of machine learning in robotics.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Anil Kurkcu<\/strong> is a postdoctoral research fellow at Poznan University of Technology. He received his B.Sc. degree from Middle East Technical University in 2017 and his Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University in 2022. His main area of study is in the field of robot learning.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jan Peters<\/strong> is a full professor (W3) for Intelligent Autonomous Systems at the
Computer Science Department of the Technische Universitaet Darmstadt. Jan Peters has received the Dick Volz Best 2007 US Ph.D. Thesis Runner-Up Award, the Robotics: Science & Systems – Early Career Spotlight, the INNS Young Investigator Award, and the IEEE Robotics & Automation Society’s Early Career Award as well as numerous best paper awards. In 2015, he received an ERC Starting Grant and in 2019, he was appointed as an IEEE Fellow.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Davide Tateo<\/strong> is a Research Group Leader at the Intelligent Autonomous Systems Laboratory in the Computer Science Department of the Technical University of Darmstadt. He received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2014 and his Ph.D. in Information Technology from the same university in 2019. Davide Tateo worked in many areas of Robotics and Reinforcement Learning, including Deep Reinforcement Learning, Planning, and Perception.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nico Bohlinger<\/strong> is a PhD student at the Intelligent Autonomous Systems Laboratory in the Computer Science Department of the Technical University of Darmstadt. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics from the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences and a master’s degree in Bioinformatics from the Goethe University Frankfurt.
