This past weekend, I had the pleasure of participating in HACK2026, hosted by the ETH Robotics Club. It was an intense, high-energy 48 hours in the Hangar, surrounded by some of the brightest minds in robotics.
I attended the event as the representative of INTENTION project. It was an incredible opportunity to step out of the lab, build something new, and collaborate with talented students from ETH Zurich, Delft University of Technology, and CentraleSupélec.
Our goal for the hackathon was to build a package that transforms a Unitree Robotics Go2 into an autonomous explorer. Built on top of dimensionalOS, our prototype successfully tackled autonomous exploration, semantic scene interpretation and object identification.
Representing INTENTION project in such a competitive, collaborative environment was a great experience. I’m walking away with new perspectives on robotic integration and a refined approach to the work we are doing in our lab.
